GROW!

This is a great game. I just finished Grow RPG, with a little help *cough* cheating *cough*, I only had two things wrong, and it was fun. You have to put things on in the right order so the stupid little purple dragon doesn't kill you! It's a little frustrating, but fun. Some of the other ones are Grow Cube, Grow Ver. 3, and Grow Ver. 2. I've played ver. 3 before, it's kinda spacey, but I haven't figured that one out yet, maybe another day. If you're bored and looking for something to play around with that you actually have to use your brain for, I totally recommend these.

It's Not Fair

Well, I was all ready to move to Prince George this weekend to start my pharmacy technician course, which had already been postponed by a month, and they cancelled the program. I was supposed to start Monday and they called me to let me know that they were no longer offering it on Thursday. Grr. I was already and everything, I've had an apartment since the beginning of September and it was all set up nicely! Stupid college.

On a brighter note, I know what I am going to be for Halloween - Princess Peach! I get to wear a beautiful pink dress... well, it's not made yet, but I'm just assuming it will be beautiful... and I have my own personal Mario. Speaking of Mario, we're thinking of going "Trick-or-treatin" on Halloween, but only to people's houses we know, it should be fun.

Newsflash: Hallowe'en is for Sluts!

Aparently, if you want to buy an adult Hallowe'en costume you'd better be prepared to look slutty! Just look at Little Red Riding Hood, Little Bo Peep, and Rainbow Bright. I just want a nice Hallowe'en costume! One that my bottom doesn't hang out of, is that so much to ask? I'd like to be Holly Hobbie but I can't find the fabric for it anywhere! Another costume I think would be great would be Raggady Ann but Lazerslug sure is being stubborn about being Raggady Andy.
Anyways, basically I don't know what I should be for Hallowe'en so any suggestions are welcome in my comments, thanks.

Zen Garden

LazerSlug got me a very cool apartment warming gift this past weekend. It's a zen garden, which is basically a, umm, thingie with sand in it. You buy knick-knacks and just kinda play with em in the sand. I've got a candle for mine too. The only thing I'm missing right now is a rake; they were out. However LazerSlug discovered that until that time that we can get a rake, a fork makes a good substitute.

Anyone remember this?

Remember Boys and Girls!

Bored

Man am I getting bored. I have nothing to do during the day and I don't start school for almost a month! Not that I'm looking forward to being stressed out and having homework, it's more that I'm looking forward to having my education done.
Yikes, it's late! I should probably go to bed soon, and it's not like anyone reads my blog so I guess it doesn't really matter how long or exciting my posts are. Oh well.

A Post

This, is a post. That's right, a post.
So I found an apartment for the fall, nothing fancy, just a little one bedroom close to school so I can walk. That's all that's new.
Go see Snakes on a Plane.

Tim Horton's Sucks

Seriously, they do. I was sick for three days and they fired me. They said I'd missed too many days... I was bloody sick, what did they freakin want me to do? Idiots. And then they didn't even pay me for all they days I worked. I'm annoyed.

I want to go camping, I haven't been camping in ages. I like sleeping in a tent, it's great.

What My Theme Song is...

Your Theme Song is Beautiful Day by U2

"Sky falls, you feel like
It's a beautiful day
Don't let it get away"

You see the beauty in life, especially in ordinary everyday moments.
And if you're feeling down, even that seems a little beautiful too.

Another Job Interview

Well, it seems I have another job interview in the morning, oh joy!  Don't get me wrong, I want a job, I just hate the interviews and I am not terribly good at them.  Can't they just give me a job?  That'd be ideal.  I mean, how hard can it be to use a cash register?  Seriously.  Anyways, I'm off to bed now so I'll be well rested and hopefully things will go as well as they can.

Retro!

While doing some Stumbling today I decided that I want a retro kitchen one day. Not actually the old stuff, but something new that's retro looking, like this Refrigerator and Stove. They're energy efficient AND they look cool! I was thinking a booth or something in the kitchen, just for general meals and snacks and stuff, with a more normal dining room (not retro) for fancy dinners and stuff.
Also, while watching House Hunters there was a house with a combo washer and dryer and I have now decided that I definitely want one of those too one day. I was looking at some on the internet and I decided that I think I would get this one. It has a little brother too but I figure if I'm gonna have kids one day (which I am planning on) that I may as well just invest in the larger one to begin with, although that won't be anytime soon.
Ok, I'm done now.

Sleep

I want sleep! I'm tired! It's almost 6 in the morning and I can't sleep! It's light outside! I've tried watching tv (Saved by the Bell and Arthur) and yet, nothing. I mean, hello? Arthur couldn't put me to sleep? That's just sad. I've half a mind to just get up and start my day but then I'd just be exhausted all day! I just needed somewhere to complain, that's all. Ok, I'm gonna try again to get in a few winks. Nighty-night.

Bowling.

Wow, I can't believe people actuallly bowl every week.  I went this week to fill in for someone who couldn't make it and although it wasn't that bad I just can't imagine doing it every week.  I seriously think it would just ruin bowling for me.  I guess it's just not for me.  Oh well.
Speaking of *ahem* sports though, (I'm not sure bowling counts as a sport) I miss sports.  I'm thinking that next year I'd like to take up curling.  I've never been before but it kind of looks fun.  Also, I'm thinking that this spring I might see if there is a recreational adult soccer leauge here.  I would join a competetive one but I'm not so good and I don't really want my teammates to hate me!
Well, that's basically all for now.

Mac Viruses??  WTF??

So apparently, since Macs are so great and all, hackers have decided to get in to the fun.  Mac OSX is supposedly having viruses written for it.  Oh joy, I get to join the ranks of the lowly Windows users and get a virus scanner.  It's still less suseptable (sp?) than PCs but I'm still bitter.

I'm walking on sunshine, woooah!

I got Super Mario Sunshine today and it's great! I haven't played it much yet, but so far it looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. I took Splinter Cell to eb games to trade it in, but I only got $2 for it. I've never traded in a game before but I was definitely expecting to get more than that. Oh wel, no biggie, I wasn't going to play it anyways. Super Mario Sunshine was preplayed so it really wasn't too expensive so it's all good. Well, that's about all for now.

"Valentine's Day!"

So, Valentine's Day was yesterday. Yes, I realize that traditionally it's on February 14th, but this year it just happened to be on the 11th - weird huh? Anyways, Don woke me up with a dozen beautiful pink roses! I've never gotten roses before! They're so pretty! He also got me a Gamecube which is great! We bought Zelda and it's the most funnest(?) game ever! Well, I'm not sure about ever, but boy is it fun. You can even hook up a gameboy advance (which Don has) to make it cooperative play during some parts. Oh, and another thing. I ordered Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix yesterday. It's a ddr game with mostly Nintendo songs; I think it looks really fun. So that's supposed to be shipped in Late February or early March, and take 6 - 10 business days to come, so I'm totally looking forward to that package! Anyways, I have to go get ready for church now, so I'll try to post more often in the future!

Haven't posted for awhile.

It's the weekend, woo hoo! So I went to the new Italian restaurant here yesterday and it was so good! I had baked lasagne and we had many dessertsl Yum! Then we went sledding in Don's backyard. It was fun, but my bum got cold really fast... stupid blue jeans. Oh, and there was the river at the bottom of the hill that made me a little weary, but it was all good.
So I had a job interview on Thursday for the library here. I think it went alright, but I don't find out until Monday. I'm not super hopeful because they did interviews for two days and they're only hiring one person so that makes a lot of competition. It'd be nice to get this job, but I'm sure I'll find something if I don't get it.
Oh, and Don got a couple Megaman games from eBay, and they're super fun! But hard! Yikes! Oh well. He also bought me Dr. Mario 64 but that hasn't come yet. I'm excited though, he says it's a really fun game. He's so sweet, I totally had no idea he was bidding on it for me until he won.
Ok, that's about it for now.

The OC

I missed half of my favorite show! It was an accident; I totally forgot it was on! Boo, oh well, I'll see if I can tape it later tonight so I can see the whole thing.
My biology course came yesterday. It doesn't look too hard so I think it'll be ok.
Oh, and Don thinks he may get a Mac next time he buys a computer, yay! Another one converted, muha ha ha!

Yoga.

Yoga. It's boring, not relaxing, boring. It's like stretching for gym class, only it's drawn out for an hour and a half. Ok, that's all for that, I just wanted to vent on that.
I'm bored. Bored, bored, bored. I want a job, I want something to do. I don't have a life, boo! I applied for a job today though, and I'm really hoping I get it. I think it would be a really good job, it's at the public library here in Quesnel. And last night I signed up to take biology 12 through correspondence so that should be coming soon so at least I should have something to do.

I Remember!

I just remembered what I was going to write. It's actually more of a rant, but I'm going to post it anyways.
So, when e-cards were first popular they were great! I mean, it's not the same as a real card, but it's better than nothing. And they were free. There were some great ones at Blue Mountain, but now all the good ones cost money. I mean, there are still some good ones, Hoops and Yoyo, for instance, is one of my favorite. Sometimes though, when you just want to let someone know you're thinking of them, you want something quick that shows them you care, and it's a lot harder now. Ok, that's all. Toodles again!

I'm Back!

Well, it seems I haven't posted in awhile. I had a fun weekend. Don and I made some lemon meringue pie that, well, kinda flopped, but it tasted awesome anyways! Uhh, what else did I do? I can't even remember. I have to have blood tests tomorrow, I'm not so much looking forward to that...
So, I'm currently watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. It's one of my favorite shows; I'm such a sap. This one is about a lady who has adopted 7 children with special needs. I think one day I'd like to adopt a child. It's just so sad that so many kids have to grow up in foster care going from home to home with no real parents. I think that if I can help just one child and give them love and a family, then why wouldn't I? Anyways, just a thought for the day.
Well, there was something else I was going to write about today but since I can't remember what it was I guess it'll have to wait for another day. Toodles people.
